An experienced and dedicated administrative
team and faculty have led to the consistency of operations and innovative
growth of Miss Helen's academic programs over the years. Lynda Wingo,
who currently serves as Executive Director and Owner of Miss Helen's, is
the daughter-in-law of founder Helen Wingo. Lynda has been with Miss
Helen's since 1974.
All three of the key senior administrative staff members have been with Miss Helen's for over 20 years. They include: Director Patti Holder who has been with Miss Helen's since 1980; Assistant Director and Supervisor of the Kindergarten and Elementary programs, Mary Blue, who has been with Miss Helen's since 1980; and the Preschool Supervisor, Rhonda Reidy, who also joined Miss Helen's in 1980. In addition, the Elementary Grade Supervising Teacher, Maria Morris, has been with Miss Helen's since 1984. The average length of service for all faculty members is approximately 10 years. Most faculty members are degreed and encouraged to pursue continuing education. |
